Technical Characteristics:
This is the longest tourist chair rope way
in Bulgaria. Its length is 3990 m. It consists of two parts:
 | The
first one begins from the outskirts of town of Sopot, near
Sopotski Monastery "Vaznesenie Gospodne" (557 m., First station) and ends in Pochivaloto Area (1389 m.,
Second station). It is constructed in 1980, the length is
2630 m., the trip lasts 22 min and the displacement is 832 m. The
capacity of this line is 300 persons per hour. |

The second part starts from Pochivaloto Area (Third
station) to the
region of Nezabravka Private Chalet
(Fourth
station). It is constructed after 10 Nov
1989, the length is 1360 m., the capacity is 254 persons per hour
and the trip lasts 15 min. |
